PUTTING THE "U" IN COMMUNITY

Our community service extends far beyond the nozzle.  A key part of our mission is fire prevention and education.  Each year we participate in programs and events that enrich life in Seward.

Seward Angel Tree Program

The 2018 Seward Angel Tree Program was a HUGE success thanks to YOU!  The goal of this program is to ensure that local kids and families always have presents under the tree, regardless of the hardships life hands them. In 2018, your donations, time, and generosity put gifts in the hands of almost 45 local families in Seward and Moose Pass.  THANK YOU!

Oscar Watsjold Memorial Scholarship

Oscar Watsjold exemplified what it means to be a volunteer. He served as a member of Seward Fire for a total of 69 years. Today, we honor his service through a scholarship that rewards those pursuing careers in public & emergency services (fire/EMS, law enforcement, medicine, and nursing).
