PUTTING THE "U" IN COMMUNITY
Our community service extends far beyond the nozzle. A key part of our mission is fire prevention and education. Each year we participate in programs and events that enrich life in Seward.
This program aims to ensure local kids and families always have presents under the tree, no matter what hardships life throws their way. Your donations, time, and generosity will put gifts in the hands of local families in the Seward Area communities.
THANK YOU!
Oscar Watsjold exemplified what it means to be a volunteer. He served the Seward Fire Department for 69 years. Today, we honor his service through a scholarship that rewards those pursuing careers in emergency services ( Fire/EMS, Law Enforcement, Medical, and Nursing) & public services.
The SFD Fire Explorers Program engages Seward teens ages 14-17 in fire and emergency services. To find out more, contact us.
