This Ford Pumper arrived in Seward brand new, along
with two others, in 1941. The Army was creating Forts in
the area for Harbor defenses during WWII. When the
Chief was asked what he needed, he asked for new
engines. Thus, 3 new engines were delivered. Engine 41
is now used for Parade occassions.
